Fleetline's Data Center is housed in one of the nation's premier facilities
FleetlineNetworks servers are housed in The Planet and SoftLayer data centers. The Planet offers one of the industry's fastest, most robust networks (100 gigabits/sec) and currently owns and operates six state-of-the-art data centers with a total of over 155,000 sq. ft. of raised floor space with 12,000 sq. ft. expansion capability. Gigabit cross-connects between multiple data centers assures that data moves quickly and if any one data center were to experience network connectivity issues, it would simply route outgoing data through other centers.
Additional specifications:
- State-of-the-art N+1 power generator architecture keeps servers running in the event of any generator failure.
- In an extended power outage, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely.
- Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is N+1 redundant with instant failover coverage should the primary UPS fail.
- HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems are N+1 redundant to ensure there is a duplicate system ready to assume the load if the primary system fails.
- Advanced fire suppression systems keep any fires localized and prevent them from spreading.
- Leading the industry in network bandwidth capacity (100 gigabits/sec).
- Fully redundant Network Operations Center capabilities from two cities, and 24x7x365 monitoring.
- Fully redundant, world-class routing equipment is designed without single points of failure - redundant core routers, core distribution switches, and carrier diversity.
- By peering directly with other providers, potential congestion points are bypassed through third party transit providers and provide shorter paths and lower latency to the end users. This results in better performance of your hosted applications.
Network Security:
For the highest levels of intrusion and DDoS prevention, FleetlineNetworks' servers are protected at the Network level by Cisco Guard XT appliances and Arbor Peakflow protection.
More information about Peakflow is here.
More information about Cisco Guard XT is here.
These and other Industry leading tools are utilized to:
- Proactively detect and trace network-wide anomalies
- Coordinate with Cisco Guards to block attacks
- Notify The DC's Security Operations Center if suspicious activities are detected
- Characterize traffic based on services and protocols
- Identify and assess potential peering partners
